Fidya

If someone is unable to fast during Ramadan or on other fasting days (e.g. due to illness, travel or menstruation), they should make up for the missed fasts when they are able to do so. If this is not possible, a fidya can be paid as compensation. This amounts to at least €15 per missed day of fasting.
